A.I.S.E encourages all its members active in the non-flushable wipes sector to place the ‘Do Not Flush’ icon prominently on their packaging. The icon was developed by industry associations Edana and Inda, representing the majority of non-woven fibres in Europe.  

The Edana/Inda  Code of Practice on communicating appropriate disposal pathways for nonwoven wipes includes communication practices, as well as on-pack implementation of the “Do Not Flush’ icon for non-flushable wipes. This covers wipes produced for the baby and beauty sectors and also most of the homecare wipes, such as surface, bathroom or antibacterial wipes.
