A.I.S.E. has been guiding users towards the sustainable use of products for almost a quarter of a century. Its guidance for the sustainable use of disinfectants by professionals was first developed in 2012 to provide clean do’s and don’ts for professional cleaners on disinfectants, in particular relating to storage, usage (guidance for before and after use), and disposal.

This guidance supplements safe and sustainable use information provided by the supplier of the product which will be contained within the safety data sheets, and/or in the workplace instructions.  

The guidance for the sustainable use of disinfectants exists in multiple languages for use on product labels or in other communications or safety material provided to customers.
